Electrical Engineering and Computing program of study is an innovative program developed as a result of many years of analysis and cooperation between renowned experts in different scientific and professional electrical and computer engineering fields. The program is taught in both Serbian and English Language.

In this program candidates will master software tools and applications and learn to implement their own hardware solutions based on programmable hardware and modular embedded solutions.

hatUpon successful completion of studies, students are awarded the title Master of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

I semestar

The course aims to establish epistemological criteria of scientific knowledge regarding business systems. It also focuses on analyzing logical and technical aspects of research methods and processes used in science; it also teaches how to form a critical stance with respect to scientific strategy-related issues. Finally, it aspires to develop and brush up the analytical framework of the research and find the most efficient means to collect and organize the original data on business systems.

Students become conversant with modern telecommunication technologies.

The course aims to familiarise students with modern systems and tools for working with databases.

The principal objective is to familiarise students with the methods and techniques employed in different phases of embedded systems development, including modelling, designing and system analysis. Students will understand the importance of the system-on-chip and the basic problems that occur during the design process.

The chief aim is to familiarise students with the basics of digital image processing in the spatial and frequency domain. In addition, they learn to use software packages relevant to image processing, and implement their own algorithms for image processing and analysis.

The main focus is to familiarise students with methods and tools used in speech signal analysis and modelling with a view to ensuring efficient encoding, memorizing, transmitting and recognizing. Students will acquire knowledge from the domain of modern speech technologies based on digital signal processing in time and frequency domain.

The course aim is to enable students to master the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to implement basic algorithms from the domain of digital signal processing using DSP processors.

S1 research paper consists of working on a project, which tests the candidate’s ability to conducts independent research. This paper is the first instrument to examine the student on a master’s degree program and the first more important verification statement the student does in consultation with his mentor.

II semestar

Students acquire basic knowledge about access technologies for the distribution of broadband interactive services. They also become conversant with the types and architectures of broadband access networks and relevant standards and recommendations.

The objective of the course is to familiarise students with the content and procedure for developing technical documentation for telecommunication networks and systems. Furthermore, students learn about legal and technical regulations. Finally, they are able to design telecommunication networks and systems.

Students gain necessary knowledge in the field of smart grid technologies.

Students acquire academic knowledge regarding materials for the field of modern sources of energy and are able to connect multidisciplinary knowledge.

The main purpose is to familiarise students with current trends and future guidelines for developing distributed embedded systems and microprocessor architectures. The course provides information about high-performance processor and various techniques of parallelism implemented at the thread and process level.

This research paper consists of working on projects that need to be finalized in the master’s thesis. The research paper serves to evaluate the candidate's autonomy to perform a more complex and comprehensive analysis of a problem.

The goal of writing and defending the master’s thesis is for the student to, by processing and defending the research-based topic, demonstrate an independent and creative approach in the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in future practice in the field of electrical engineering and computing.

  • The candidate takes six exams. The first project assignment integrates four courses from the first semester, whereas the second integrates two courses from the second semester.
  • During the course of lecture, the candidate defines the topic for their master's thesis. Project assignments from the first and second semesters may be integrated into the master's thesis.
