I semestar

The goal of the course is to establish epistemological criteria of scientific knowledge about business systems, to study logical, technical foreign research methods and also scientific methods to assume a critical stance on all relevant issues of scientific strategy. The goal is also to help develop analytical framework of the research as well as systematic search for the most effective means of collecting and compiling the original data on business systems.

The goal is to familiarize a student with modern telecommunication technologies.

The candidate’s work on a research project demonstrates his or her ability for independent research. As a part of an examination process, the paper represents the first important verification statement that the candidate develops in consultation with the advisor.

In this course, the student will be familiarized with modern systems and tools for working with databases.

The principal objective is to familiarize a student with the methods and techniques that are employed in different phases of the embedded systems development, including modeling, design and analysis techniques. Students will understand the importance of the system on a chip and the basic problems that arise during their construction.

The chief aim is to familiarize prospective students with the basics of digital image processing in the spatial and frequency domain, to enable them to use software packs for image processing, as well as to help them implement their own image processing and analysis algorithms.

The main focus is to familiarize students with the methods and tools used in the analysis and modeling of the voice signal. The methods are intended to help enhance the efficiency of encoding, memorization, transmission and recognition of information. Students will acquire knowledge from the domain of modern speech technologies based on digital signal processing in time and frequency domain.

The aim is to enable students to master the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to implement basic algorithms from the domain of digital signal processing by using DS processors.

II semestar

The students should gain basic knowledge about access technologies for broadband interactive services distribution. They should become conversant with types and architectures of broadband access networks and appropriate standards and recommendations.

The objective is to familiarize a student with the content and procedure for developing technical documentation for telecommunication networks and systems, and also with legal and technical regulations. Students will be trained to design telecommunication networks and systems.

A prospective student is expected to gain the necessary knowledge in the field of smart grid technologies.

A prospective student will acquire academic knowledge in the field of materials for the field of modern energy sources as well as ability to demonstrate multidisciplinary knowledge.

The main purpose is to familiarize a prospective student with current trends and future guidelines for developing distributed embedded systems and microprocessor architectures. The study material refers to a high-performance processor and various techniques of parallelism that are implemented at the thread and process level.

Work on a research project needs to be finalized by master’s thesis. The research work serves to evaluate the candidate's autonomy to perform a more complex and comprehensive analysis of a problem.

The work and defense the master's thesis serves to provide a student with a research-oriented topic and enable him or her to demonstrate an independent and creative approach in the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in future practice in the field of electrical engineering and computer engineering.

  • The candidate takes six exams. The first project assignment integrates four subjects from the first semester, while the second integrates two subjects from the second semester.
  • During the course of lecture, the candidate chooses the topic for their master’s thesis. Project objectives from the first and second semesters can be integrated into master work.
