I semestar

The main aim of the Digital Broadcasting Principles course is to prepare students for their prospective careers in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Graduated master students will be trained to work on TV stations as system engineers and engineers for the maintenance of television equipment.

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the content and procedure of creating technical documentation for television equipment, to the legal and technical regulations as well as to enable them to work on television.

Research Paper 1 implies work on a project, which evaluates the candidate’s ability to work independently. It is the first relevant assignment that the candidate performs with the mentor's assistance.

This course aims to introduce students to modern telecommunication technologies. Upon successful completion of this course, students should become conversant with selected topics in the field of modern telecommunications.

During this course, students will be introduced to the basics of digital image processing in the spatial and frequency domain. They will learn how to use software packs for image processing, as well as to implement their own image processing and analyze the algorithms.

II semestar

The objective of this course is to introduce students to the content and procedure for the development of technical documentation for telecommunication networks and systems, legal and technical regulations as well as to train students for telecommunication networks and systems design.

The internship aims to enable students to work on television, with transmitting equipment, to work in a studio, as well as enable them for new capacities planning.

The aim of doing and defending this master's thesis is to provide a student with the opportunity to explore a practical research-oriented topic, demonstrating an independent and creative approach in applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills in future practice within the scope of digital broadcasting and broadband technologies.

  • The candidate takes six exams. The first project assignment integrates three courses from the first semester, whereas the second one combines three courses from the second semester.
  • During the course of studies, the candidates formulate their master's thesis. Project assignments completed in the first and second semester can be integrated into the final master’s thesis.
